Overview

The goal is to take a classic square body Chevrolet suburban and give it a modern twist. This Chevrolet Suburban has a 6.6L LT Duramax Diesel

86 Suburban – Initial tear down and body mounting

We start off with the two halves: our 86 Suburban and the 2022 Silverado 2500 HD. Both are gutted and stripped. The Silverado down to its floor, firewall, and a shortened frame; the Suburban down to the cab. The cab was then cut free from its frame, fitted, mounted, and fabricated onto the new chassis.
