Final Assembly
- Posted On:
First, we put the drivetrain back together on the chassis. Then, the bed and cab were remounted to the frame. The rest of the body panels are put back together on the truck. All of the wire harnesses, hoses, fluids, and other accessories are hooked up. We upholstered all the interior panels and installed windshield and glass. The truck was weighed, set for ride height, and cross balanced before being sent to the Dyno. Finally, the truck is wet sanded and buffed for a showroom finish.
Paint

After the teardown, we sandblast all the parts, including the frame, cab, bed, and body panels. Next, all the parts are sprayed with epoxy primer. With the bodywork completed, the truck and frame were prepped for paint. Finally, the frame, truck body, and panels were painted.

We heavily modified and fitted the dash, door panels, headliner, and seats from the 2020 Silverado interior to fit into the c10 cab. Then we fabricated a custom center console. The power window regulator and motors were modified to work within the c10 doors, adding powered mirrors as well. Custom tread plates and door opening trim panels were made for around the door openings to finish out the interior fabrication.

We fitted the factory 5.3 engine from the 2020 Silverado, and mounted the ECU and harnesses. We implemented an LT4 Corvette Supercharger, and changed the valve train for improved performance. Next, we fabricated a custom stainless dual exhaust. Finally, hand build aluminum engine covers were made for the engine bay.
Front End Fabrication
- Posted On:
We built the widened fenders and flares to match the new wheel profile. Next, we fabricated a custom cowl to hide the windshield wipers. The rad support was modified next to fit the bigger radiator, intercooler, and oil coolers. A custom one piece grill and bumper were made with aluminum to tie together the ground effects from the rest of the body.
Bed Fabrication

We built the bed frame out of tube steel, jigged it up on the frame machine, and welded the front of the box. Next, we mounted it to the frame and welded in the inner bedsides. The bed skin was cut to a custom seven foot length, and flared out five inches on each side. We then fabricated the wheel openings and flares. The ground effects from the cab were continued through the bed and tied in with the rear bumper. Custom spoilers were added to the top edges of the bed and back of the cab.
Cab Fabrication
- Posted On:
Taking the floor and firewall section of the 2020 cab along with the 72 cab, we mated them together and put them on the modified 2020 frame. We fabricated the ground effects for the cab, chopped the roof and doors two inches, and moved the windshield back. We finished fabricating the firewall and cowl area, making room for the wiper arms and motor.
